Concrete Contractor Windsor Heights IA - Sidewalks, Driveways & Leveling

In Windsor Heights we replace sidewalks, driveways and approaches, front steps and patios, and we lift sunken slabs on the city's established streets.

The city is small and surrounded on every side by its neighbors, so most concrete work there means replacing what's already in place.

Concrete Work We Do in Windsor Heights

Driveway and approach replacements, public sidewalk squares and front walks, stoops and steps, back patios, garage floors, and mudjacking and concrete leveling for panels that have dropped. On tight lots, access decides the plan. We check how close a truck can get, and whether we'll need to pump or wheel concrete, before we price the job.

Windsor Heights Permits

Windsor Heights requires a right-of-way permit to remove, build or rebuild a sidewalk or driveway approach in the public right-of-way. The City allows at least five full working days for review, and the formwork has to be inspected before the pour, called in to Public Works at least 48 hours ahead. The City's residential guidelines set approaches at 6 inches thick, walks at 4 inches (6 inches through a driveway) and driveways at 10 to 24 feet wide at the sidewalk, and a replaced walk matches the existing width or is at least 4 feet. We handle the paperwork and the inspection calls. Approach details are on our driveway approaches and curb cuts page.
